Photo Story Platinum FAQS

Photo

How many photos can I add to my story?

There is no limitation of the photos, but it's not recommended to add too many photos in one story. The more photos you add, the slower the application will become. Alternatively, you can create more stories instead.

How to change the duration of photo?

In Photo Story Platinum, all photos are displayed without any style or with the gorgeous style you specified. Therefore, you don't need to change the photo duration. Instead, you could change the duration of segment as below. For segment that has no style (shown as None), the duration could be any value between 1 second to 4 seconds. For other segments, the duration range depends on the default time length of used style. The maximum value is 2 times of the default length, while the minimum is half of default length. To change it, you have two options: under Storyboard mode or Timeline mode. On Storyboard, double-click the duration under style thumbnail and change it to the value you want. Remember that if the value you input is larger than the maximum or smaller than minimum, the program will automatically change it to the maximum or minimum value. Under Timeline mode, move your cursor over the right end of the segment and drag to right or left (increase/decrease duration) at your pleasure when the cursor turns into arrow shape. Note that if you find that you can't drag any more, you have arrived at its maximum or minimum value. With respect to the default length of styles, it's decided while the styles are designed and depends on the photo count. In general, the larger is the photo count, the longer the default length of style will be.

How can I sort the order of the photos?

To sort the order of photos, simply locate Storyboard, which is at the bottom of interface, and adjust photos’ position by dragging and dropping photo thumbnail to new position. Note that it’s available to move multiple photos as long as you select them before moving. To select consecutive photos, click the first one and hold down "Shift" key to click the last one. After selecting them, drag any one of them to desired position. As you could see, there is a gray line showing up, which indicates the new position you are about to put the photos to, while you are moving the selected thumbnail (s).

Song and Music

How many music/songs can I add to one story?

For Photo Story Platinum, you are available to add 128 pieces of music/song audios in each track. As you could see on Timeline, you have two audio tracks to place your music/songs. Thus, it's easy to add complex audio effect to one single photo. To add music/songs, it's recommended to switch to Timeline mode and double-click any audio track to open the Add Audio window and choose your desired music/song files. By doing so, you can add music/songs to specified position of the sequence.

How to synchronize background music and story?

To make background music sync with story, you have many ways to achieve the task. To make the background music start at specified place, just switch to Timeline mode and drag the music thumbnail to the position you want. In the event that the added music file is longer than the story length, you could trim the music by dragging the right end to left to cut the music or drag the right end of segment to prolong the length of story. In case that your story is longer than the music length, the rest of the story will be silent. Therefore, it’s recommended you choose a more suitable music file according to the length of story, or shorten the length of story through the method described above, or even delete some photos.
