Installation

Can I specify another location for the program while installing?

Yes. You can specify any location on your computer for the program. If you don't know which directory you have installed your program into, you can hold your cursor over the shortcut icon for the program, then the hint information will show you the location. When you upgrade your program and you want to keep current resource such as customized templates, you should back up "Resource"folder under installation location before you install the newer version.


Registration

How to register the program?

Before registering, you should have got the registration email address and registration code. Then run the program you want to register and open the Register dialog box. In the resulting dialog box, input your licensed email address and the registration code, afterward, click "Register"to finish registering. Note that both licensed email address and the registration code are case-sensitive. Besides, don't leave any additional blank space in your email address or registration code.


I've lost my registration Code. Can I upgrade to the newest version?

Certainly. All of our software provides free upgrade for lifetime. Any time you want to upgrade your program, simply visit our websites and follow the instructions to accomplish. For detailed information about upgrade, please go to relevant topics. However, if the current version on your computer works well, it's not recommended to upgrade it frequently.
Alternatively, you can retrieve your registration code by yourself. The fastest and most convenient way: visit our support website, choose the method as you want and in the next web page enter the email address you used when purchasing or the Order Number, then you could get your registration code. Note that this registration code would generally validate for the version you are using.


Why do I get the message"The Licensed E-mail Address and Registration code don't match," when I register the program with the registration information sent from you.

There would be some reasons to cause it. Please check out step by step as below:

1. Don't apply the key code to trial version, for the trial version can't be activated.
2. Ensure the previous version has been erased completely.
3. The key code is in Caps.
4. Don't leave blank space before the key code serials.
5. Check whether your system time is set correctly.

How to upgrade as a registered user?

If you are formal user, please go to http://support.ourpix.com to upgrade. Log in the system with your email and password issued in the registration email. After login, forward to 'My Order' portion, select your program and 'Upgrade'. Afterwards,an email would come up, with the download URL for the updated program and new registerkey code included.
Please note that the previous version should be erased before you install the new one.However, if you want to keep resource like some customized template, you can backupthe relevant folder and move back after installing.

How often should I upgrade my program?

Generally, upgrade mainly provides bug fixes and performance enhancement. However, if our program can work well in your system, we don't recommend you updating the version frequently. How to open a saved story project from another computer?
To use story from another computer, please copy the folder in name of that story as well as all your photos and the audio you've added to the story. If you can not find it on your local disk, you can search your hard disk with the story name or story category name. Please paste the story folder and the added photo/audio files to their original path. And for the added files, you must keep folder structure same with computer where they come from. Then launch the program and click the button in the top left corner and select "Open"; in the pop-up menu, finally, you can see and continue to edit the story from another computer now.
