Download Wondershare DVD Slideshow Builder to install and launch. In the Slideshow tab, you can import your prepared photo and video into the program through the Add Photo/Video button. And if required, you can also edit the imported photo/video using the built-in tools issued by double-clicking photo/video thumbnails on Storyboard.
To make a festive Santa Claus photo slideshow, you are recommended to combine lots of Santa Claus's photos and traditional Chrismat songs, such as Jingle Bells, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer, etc. See also below to learn how to add background music. If required, double-click the added music file in the music table to trim it so as to match your slideshow.
You could display your Christmas wishes or descriptions on Santa's sleigh photo. For little child, they all know the Santa Claus gives them gifts by riding his sleigh drawn by flying reindeer. To add subtitle, please follow the these steps:
1. Switch to Timeline view and locate the photo to which you intend to add subtitle.
2. Double click on Subtitle Track to bring up the Add Subtitle window (see below).
3. Click OK after you have input text and made settings, such as Effect, Font, Size, Color, etc.
Only If you want to burn your Christmas slideshow onto DVD, SVCD, VCD Disc, is it necessary to configure a professional menu. After switching to Menu tab, simply double-click the Christmas DVD menu template on the left hand side to apply it to your Christmas slideshow. Note that you can import your own image as the DVD menu background just as below.
It's time now to burn your Santa Claus photo slideshow onto disc or create video in various formats. If burned onto disc, play it on your living room TV, all your family could get your Christmas wishes and feel your heart, especially the children. They love Santa Claus. See the screenshot below:
Note that you need to specify the save path if you select a video format. It will take some time for the program to generate the final Christmas slideshow, which depends on the video length. If you choose to create your Christmas slideshow into video formats, you can then upload it to YouTube and share with others by sending the URL. Prior to that, you may need to sign up in YouTube.

Tips:
1. You can set desired photo thumbnail on Storyboard as the Santa Claus photo slideshow thumbnail on DVD menu by right-clicking a photo thumbnail and selecting "Set as Thumbnail" in the resulting right menu. Or the first photo thumbnail would be used.
2. If you choose to output your Santa Claus photo slideshow as video formats, the menu would not be generated even though you have applied a menu template. Likewise, you will not preview the menu once you have previously selected a video format in the output format drop-down list.
3. It's available to specify background music to your DVD menu. You can define it just under the work area in Menu tab.
